phuket town
Chinpracha House in Phuket Town
+ Tomorrow I am going on a business trip to Thailand.
The picture is from Chinpracha House, Phuket Town where I visited in July.
The architectural style of the house is called Sino-Portuguese, a mix of Chinese and Western style.
In the town I interviewed to the local who are involved in conservation activity of
historical shophouses in the town, and learned Asian culture as a harmony.
+ During the trip I learned for the first time that in Phuket there lived Hokkien Chinese,
Indian, Muslim, Christian and Phuketian in harmony.
Feeling the vitality of Chinese immigrants all over the Asia, I felt "One Asia" as a cultural mix
and connectedness with neighbouring countries, something I cannot feel in Japan.
